Friday night with Friends (FnwF)

This was our first Friday night sewing with friends for 2015. I had bought a bundle of felted wool from Sandy of Shiralee Stitches (www.shiraleestitches.com.au) and have been wanting to try it out and this is what I came up with. It will be a 6"block.

Little felt house

With a faithful dog out the front

or maybe a cat

or a cat with a bird in the tree

I will spend my weekend browsing the net to see what the other members of the FnwFs have made. The list is at www.stitchingcubbyhole.blogspot.com.au

I enjoyed the sewing night and look forward to the next one. Thank you , Cheryll, for hosting it again this year.

Enjoy the weekend.

Love the design and the cute cat. Do like the dog as well but cats rule in my place!

Love that little house block. I'm a crazy cat woman so it's not hard to guess which button I'd choose.... :o)) xxx

Hi Yvonne,
I'm just surfacing after handing in the latest assignment this morning. Congratulations on your newly published pattern. This block is so cute! Do you have any greyhound buttons? I like playing with wool felt too especially in the cold weather we are having.

Love it. Definately requires the cat waiting at the door. My internet has been disconneted for the past 2 weeks due to storms we had, thus the reason for my belated comments.
