A little stitchery

When Margaret sent me the bag, she also sent a card with it. Inside the card was this stamp.

Stamp in the card

That inspired me to do this.
Little stitchery with birdhouse

Then along came this little birdie.

Bird in tree

Then it was joined by this little bird. They both want the bird house!

2 birds in the tree

Now I will have to work out what I will do with the stitchery. A small needle book perhaps?

We have a long weekend , and the weather has turned out just glorious today. We had very heavy rain earlier in the week and looked like it was going to be a wet weekend too. However, a pleasant surprise this morning-- blue skies.

Enjoy your weekend too.
Cheers,
Yvonne

I love what you've done with the stamp design Yvonne!
I think it would make a great needlebook or even just a little hanging pillow.
Happy weekend :)

Love it! I would have it on a journal cover- maybe a Spring cleaning journal cover. You know where you jot down what needs doing and maybe what cleaning products you used? Alternatively it could be stiffened with pva and turned into a "Welcome to your new home" card.

We have a stormy weekend ahead so I will hide in the craft room instead of being seduced by the gardening.
